Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Wrapped Things (the "Service") — the iOS and Android app, this website, and related services. By using the Service, you agree to these terms.
Who we are
The Service is operated by Hugo García Benjumea, based in Spain.

Eligibility
You must be at least 14 years old to use the Service (the local minimum digital consent age in Spain). For users in other countries, the higher of (a) your local age of digital consent or (b) 13 years applies.
By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.
Your account
You are responsible for:
- The accuracy of the information you provide.
- Keeping your login credentials confidential.
- All activity that happens under your account.
Notify us immediately at support@wrappedthings.app if you believe your account has been compromised.
Acceptable use
Do not:
- Use the Service to harass, threaten, or impersonate another person.
- Post content that is illegal, hateful, sexually explicit, or violates someone else's rights.
- Attempt to access another user's account, scrape the service, or interfere with our infrastructure.
- Use automated tools (bots, scripts) to inflate counters or manipulate Versus matches.
- Reverse-engineer the app or attempt to extract source code from our APIs.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
Your content
You retain ownership of the counters, photos, group names, and other content you create in the Service ("Your Content"). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, transmit, and display Your Content solely to provide the Service — for example, to sync your counters across your devices, share them with the friends or groups you choose, and generate your Wrap.
We do not use Your Content to train AI models, and we do not sell it to third parties.
Subscriptions (Premium)
The core experience is free. Premium is an optional subscription that removes ads and unlocks additional features.
Billing
- Premium is billed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store), depending on the platform. We do not handle payment cards directly.
- Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date, per the App Store / Play Store terms.
- Cancel through your Apple ID subscription settings or Google Play subscription settings. We cannot cancel platform-billed subscriptions on your behalf.
Refunds
Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google directly through their platforms.
Price changes
We may change subscription prices. We will give at least 30 days' notice in the app and by email before any price change takes effect for existing subscribers.
Advertising (free tier)
The free tier shows opt-in rewarded ads through Google AdMob. You choose when to watch an ad to earn a reward. Our Privacy Policy describes what data AdMob collects. Premium removes ads.
Intellectual property
The Wrapped Things name, logo, app design, and all content we publish are owned by Hugo García Benjumea or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use.
Service availability
We will use reasonable efforts to keep the Service running, but we do not guarantee uptime. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Spanish law:
- The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
- Our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or €50, whichever is greater.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by Spanish law (for example, liability for gross negligence, fraud, or death/personal injury).
Termination
You may delete your account at any time from the app's "Me" tab. We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially violate these terms, or if your account has been inactive for an extended period. Termination does not cancel platform-billed subscriptions; manage those through Apple or Google.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced in the app and by email. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Spanish law. Disputes between you and us will be resolved by the courts of Madrid, Spain, unless mandatory consumer law in your country of residence requires otherwise.
If you are a consumer in the European Union, you can also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
